Note: This is a supervised, entry-level student placement designed to provide practical experience in energy trading and market analysis. The role is project-based, with responsibilities and deliverables tailored to the duration of the internship.

Nexus Energy Inc. is a privately held energy company headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, active in trading electricity across Eastern Canada, the Northeastern U.S., and Western markets, as well as providing power price risk management solutions to large commercial and industrial loads in Ontario. In addition, Nexus is actively working to develop a pipeline of renewable energy projects.

The Trading Intern will support the trading team in analyzing electricity markets, monitoring market conditions, and contributing to data-driven trading decisions. This role provides hands-on exposure to real-time energy markets and trading strategies, with a strong emphasis on analytical thinking and project-based learning.
