[Work Location: Science Park, Shatin]

The appointee will be required to • conduct agricultural R&D–related tasks, including crop cultivation system development, smart farming technologies, and agricultural process optimisation;

• liaise closely with local farmer and coordinate field testing of farming systems at designated sites;
• provide technical support to agricultural researchers, technicians and field teams;
• manage R&D or field based agricultural projects, including technical, financial and administrative aspects, such as preparing progress updates, field reports, and project documentation;
• work closely with internal R&D personnel and external collaborators;

• coordinate with local and overseas universities, research institutions, governmental/NGO partners and industry stakeholders, and handle enquiries in a professional manner; and
• perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Biological Science, Agricultural Engineering or a related discipline;

• 3 or more years of research/ relevant work experience;

• Highly-organized and capable of working under pressure with multi-task assignments;

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with good command of Putonghua being an advantage.
