Engineer II (Electrical) (Ref: PD-E-G1-EII-CT)

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following duties:

• To assist in preparation of conceptual and detailed designs and technical specifications for the power development projects
• To provide support in tender evaluation and make recommendation
• To assist in performing safety and quality controls for construction, testing and commissioning works
• To conduct inspection at manufacturers’ fabrication workshop (local or overseas) and monitor project progress
• To liaise with internal parties and external parties including contractors, government authorities and public stakeholders on project matters

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Disciplines
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
• Familiar with international quality, environmental and safety management standards; local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
• Holder of a valid class 1 and 2 driving license an advantage
