As a Marine/ Mechanical Engineer, you will be actively engaged in driving industry-leading research and development associated with machinery and systems for marine and offshore applications.

What You Will Need:
Education & Experience • Minimum of three (3) years relevant engineering experience in the energy industry, shipyard, design/consulting company, shipping/oil company, university, or classification society.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Knowledge of onboard machinery and systems including evolving technologies e.g., Carbon capturing (both pre and post combustion), CO2 transportation. The knowledge of ammonia crackers, methane reformers, methane slip, renewable energies, electrolyzer, energy saving devices etc. is a plus. Also, basic understanding of marine piping systems (e.g., fresh water, sea water, lubrication oil, fuel oil, compressed air, hydraulic system, cryogenics piping etc.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports, as assigned, to a Managing Principal Engineer
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily sedentary. Occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
