Job Description:
- Work closely with direct manager, Planning and/or Business End users in implementing IP data product platform development projects. Provide timely updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Escalate critical issues requiring managerial intervention or remedial action.
- Responsible for drafting detailed Statements of Work (SOW) and technical requirements based on approved project plans independently and / or with direct manger’s guidance.
- Liaise with the Procurement Department to facilitate bidding/RFQ processes, including vendor evaluation and selection.
- Coordinate with suppliers/SIs to oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables meet technical specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular reviews to identify and resolve deviations from project requirements.
- Validate UAT plans and monitor testing activities to ensure system functionality aligns with business needs. Document results and secure stakeholder sign-off for project acceptance.
- As backup on managing Interconnection related projects.
- Ongoing study on new technologies, trends, frameworks and development methodologies to share with other team members.
Requirement:
- Degree holder in Information Engineering, Electronic Engineering or other related disciplines.
- IP and MPLS routing knowledge.
- Experiences in Cloud, SDN, NFV application and SDLC will be definitely an added advantage.
- Cloud Architect, CCNP, JNCIS, JNCIP certifications are preferable but not a must.
- 0-3 years in SI, Telecommunication, Information Technology or related industries.
- Proficiency in MS office applications and Chinese Word Processing.
- Initiative, independent and good interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Willing to learn and utilizing company built AI tool.
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer.
