(Star Pipe Products Ltd. has an opening in Houston, TX) Engineer - QMS: Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing facilities for maintaining ISO 9001-2015, UL, FM and NSF approvals and compliances. Coordinate internal and third-party audits and facilitate resolution of any non-conformance, its resolution and closure. Coordinates with cross functional teams for developing procedures for new manufacturing facility or new vendor. Coordinate for ISO 9001-2015 to maintain procedures, controlled documents, data, internal audits, and facilitating for non-conformance closures as per SPP's QMS guidelines. Guide new internal auditors for conducting audits and help for ISO clauses interpretation. Coordinate for management review meetings and maintain tracking of action points. Track relevant data and information from different departments and make it available for external and internal audits or management review. Coordinate for product and facility approvals for UL, FM, and NSF. Prepare a new manufacturing facility or new vendor for procedural compliance as per the relevant standards. Coordinate with vendor development team, engineering and QA/QC for vendor and product approvals for arranging samples, review and test protocols. Coordinate for third party quotes for services, seek appropriate approvals and make sure payments are processed on time. Assist quality assurance department for maintaining calibration, non-conformance, customer complaint and corrective action records. Coordinate with overseas vendors for root cause analysis for non-conformance and corrective action. Requires Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related and 2 years experience in the job offered, Manager - QMS, or related. 18 months must include experience with ISO9001-2015 and Third-Party approvals UL, FM, and NSF.
