Engineer, Quality Engineering

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Miami, FL. Candidate must manage direct and indirect spend while driving procurement activities that ensure material availability and supplier compliance.

Rate Range: $30/hour to $34/hour;

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Managing direct and indirect spend by executing procurement planning, scheduling, and purchase order placement for raw materials and finished goods.
• Overseeing open‑order management by generating Power BI reports, tracking pending orders, and coordinating timely supplier follow‑ups.
• Monitoring overdue and aging purchase orders, driving corrective actions, and maintaining supplier performance and compliance.
• Supporting production continuity by analyzing line‑down incidents, implementing preventive measures, and collaborating with planning teams to avoid stockouts.
• Updating Oracle ERP with accurate promise dates, validating parts qualification, and maintaining master data integrity.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing processes and strengthen cross‑functional coordination.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electronics, Electrical Engineering.
• 8-10 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Ability to manage procurement activities, supplier performance, and purchase order processes with high accuracy.
• Proven capability to work with cross‑functional teams, handle large data sets, and support production continuity through effective inventory and supplier management.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
