Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair and assembly accessories or parts of the robotic automation systems to ensure the normal operation
- Duly report the utilization conditions of the robotic automation systems, investigate any malfunctions and solve technical issues occurred
- Prepare documentation regarding the robotic system such as operation manual, contingency plan and guideline
- Assist to design, develop, and deploy robotic automation system to facilitate construction materials testing laboratory operation
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and coordinate with robotic system vendors for the best-fit solution
- Contact with vendors, keep all orders in record and draft purchasing reports
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging and optimization to ensure high-performance applications
- Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as assigned by the Superior
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Robotic Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of experience in robotic engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with robot design, installation and repair and coordination between vendors and end-users
- Proficiency in robot programming language and PLC logistic / coding
- Strong understanding of robotic automation system, especially for the macro scale production or manufacturing lines
- Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, Python and electronics
- Familiarity with Database Architecture and Database Management System
- Proactive, self-motivated and strong analytical thinking for complex or abnormal robotic operation issues
- Solid problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
