Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Platform

📋 Description

• As an Engineering Manager for the Machine Learning Platform at Stripe, you will lead a team responsible for building the foundational infrastructure that enables ML engineers and data scientists across the company to develop, deploy, and monitor machine learning models at scale. This role is critical to Stripe’s mission of increasing the GDP of the internet by powering ML-driven products like Radar, Capital, and Billing with reliable, low-latency serving systems.
• You will hire, lead, and mentor a team of engineers, define the technical vision and roadmap for ML Data Foundations and serving infrastructure, collaborate with cross-functional teams including data science and product orgs, oversee project execution from planning to delivery, and foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement. You will also stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.
• Stripe processes over $1.9 trillion in annual payment volume, representing roughly 1.6% of global GDP, and leverages massive data to drive innovation in machine learning. The ML Platform team is central to enabling ML velocity across product lines, working closely with infrastructure, data, and product teams to build scalable, user-friendly systems that power Stripe’s most advanced ML applications.
