Engineering Process Excellence Manager

This role supports the management by driving key initiatives that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of engineering-related processes from R&D to Mass Production. The role focuses on identifying improvement opportunities, enhancing workflow performance, and enabling better cross‑functional collaboration—without taking on day‑to‑day operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, structured problem‑solving, and the ability to influence teams to adopt improved ways of working.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic projects assigned by the management to enhance engineering-related processes from R&D to Mass Production, ensuring improvements directly contribute to better efficiency, quality, and cross-functional workflow performance

Identify workflow improvement opportunities through analysis, observation, and cross-team consultation, using data-driven insights and practical evaluation to pinpoint root causes

Facilitate collaboration among Engineering, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production to drive process enhancements, aligning stakeholders on problems, solutions, and execution steps

Develop clear improvement plans, track progress, and present insights and recommendations to the management, maintaining structured timelines, measurable KPIs, and transparent reporting

Support change adoption across teams without taking on operational responsibilities, acting as a catalyst to guide, influence, and reinforce improved ways of working

Explore and evaluate opportunities to leverage AI, automation, or digital tools to enhance engineering processes and workflow efficiency, providing recommendations on practical, high-impact adoption

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines; Master’s degree is a plus

5–8+ years of project management or engineering program management experience in manufacturing, electronics, or product development environments

Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, from early R&D to mass production

Experience in process optimization, lean transformation, or engineering excellence initiatives is highly preferred

Excellent project management skills—planning, tracking, risk management, and execution

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)

Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment

Experience with AI, automation, or emerging digital technologies (e.g., data analytics tools, workflow automation) is an advantage
