Engineering - Quality Assurance Engineering/Control)

Our client, a leading LNG and Midstream Energy operator, is seeking a Quality Assurance Lead to join their team.

As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be part of the Project Delivery organization supporting the Gas Supply Expansion Project and working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, and Construction teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong self-management , clear communication skills , and the ability to coordinate and manage complex quality systems , which will align successfully within the organization.

Quality Assurance Engineer IV / Quality Assurance Lead

Approximately 15% travel to Sabine Pass, TX)

USD $81 - $92 per hour

(Serve as the Quality Assurance Lead , owning all aspects of quality management for an LNG Midstream expansion project.

Support the engineering phase by defining quality specifications, equipment criticality, and quality expectations.

Review, endorse, and manage Quality Plans from engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction partners.

Establish and manage field inspection protocols , test packages, non-conformance reporting (NCRs), and resolution processes.

Conduct quality assessments and inspections during fabrication and construction phases and oversee final documentation turnover.

15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control within Oil & Gas, LNG, or Midstream projects.

• Proven experience acting as a QA Lead or QA Manager , owning the full quality management system (not inspection-only).
• Hands-on exposure across engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction phases.
• Strong ability to work independently and coordinate quality efforts across multiple stakeholders and vendors.
• High school diploma required; Competitive hourly pay based on seniority and experience.

Office-based role with limited and purposeful field travel (about 15%).
