Overview
We are partnering with a leading financial services institution in Dubai to hire an Enterprise / Operational Risk Analyst. This role sits within a dynamic risk function and is suited to a candidate with 4–6 years’ experience in operational or enterprise risk within a capital markets environment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the firm’s risk framework, working closely with front office and support functions to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the enhancement and execution of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework
- Independently conduct Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) and control testing
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across trading, sales, and post-trade functions
- Analyse and report on risk events, incidents, and key risk indicators (KRIs)
- Produce high-quality risk reporting and MI for senior management and risk committees
- Maintain and update the risk register, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Partner with business stakeholders to embed a strong risk and control culture
- Support regulatory, audit, and governance requirements
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in Operational Risk / Enterprise Risk within a capital markets or investment banking environment
- Strong understanding of capital markets products (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and trade lifecycle
- Hands-on experience with RCSAs, KRIs, incident management, and risk frameworks
- Ability to work independently and engage confidently with stakeholders across the business
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with risk systems is beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or related field
- Progress towards or completion of a professional qualification (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA)
- Experience working in an international or regulated financial environment
