Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Enterprise Risk & Claims Manager on behalf of a growing national healthcare franchise organization. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a highly hands-on risk professional with deep experience managing corporate claims, litigation coordination, and enterprise compliance initiatives within a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Enterprise Risk & Claims Manager will play a critical role in overseeing claims management, litigation coordination, and compliance operations across a national franchise organization. This position partners closely with Legal, Operations, HR, and executive leadership to proactively identify and mitigate organizational risk while managing insurance-related claims and litigation matters from intake through resolution.

The ideal candidate brings direct, hands-on experience managing corporate insurance claims, supporting litigation processes, coordinating with outside counsel and insurance carriers, and developing enterprise-wide compliance and risk management practices. This is not a policy-only compliance role the organization is seeking an operationally focused professional who has actively owned claims and litigation workflows in a corporate environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage corporate claims processes end-to-end, including general liability, patient injury, medical malpractice, and related insurance matters
  • Partner with insurance carriers, TPAs, brokers, and outside counsel regarding claims investigations, case management, and resolution strategies
  • Coordinate litigation management activities, including discovery support, litigation calendars, document collection, case tracking, and motions/practices coordination
  • Assist with incident investigations, claims reporting, and risk mitigation efforts across corporate and franchise operations
  • Support the development and ongoing management of enterprise risk and compliance programs
  • Monitor regulatory and healthcare compliance requirements and assist with implementation of operational guidance and best practices
  • Participate in cybersecurity, privacy, and broader enterprise risk initiatives
  • Support contract, insurance, and risk-related operational reviews tied to new business initiatives and franchise operations
  • Maintain detailed reporting, documentation, and tracking related to claims, litigation, and compliance activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, HR, Operations, and executive leadership on risk-related matters

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate risk management, claims management, litigation management, or compliance within a healthcare, franchise, insurance, or multi-site environment
  • Hands-on experience managing insurance claims, including general liability, medical malpractice, patient injury, or related corporate claims
  • Experience coordinating litigation processes, including discovery, document management, outside counsel coordination, and case tracking
  • Strong understanding of enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks
  • Experience working with insurance carriers, brokers, TPAs, and legal teams
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance, patient privacy, and operational risk management preferred
  • Franchise or multi-location operational experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple high-priority matters simultaneously
  • Strong written communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off.
