Job Description: Entry-Level Business Data Analyst
Location: It is Hybrid for Locals/Remote Flexibility for Non-Locals.
The Big Picture: We are looking for a Junior Business Data Analyst who enjoys digging into details to find out what’s actually happening in a business. You don't need to be a coding wizard on day one, but you do need to be someone who looks at a spreadsheet and sees more than just rows of numbers—you see trends, problems, and opportunities.
Your job is to bridge the gap between "we have a lot of data" and "we know what to do next."
What You’ll Be Doing Every Day
- You will dig through our daily and weekly numbers to make sure everything looks right and report any weird spikes or drops to the team.
- Instead of just sending a list of numbers, you’ll create simple, clean charts and dashboards that tell a clear story at a glance.
- Let’s be honest—data is often messy. You’ll spend time organizing and "cleaning" data so it’s actually useful for the rest of the company.
- When a manager asks, "How did that specific project perform last month?" you’ll be the person who finds the answer.
- You’ll assist senior analysts with larger projects, learning the ropes of how big business decisions are made.
What We’re Looking For
- You’re comfortable using Google or YouTube to learn a new Excel trick or solve a technical hiccup.
- You should be very comfortable with formulas, sorting data, and building basic tables.
- You can write a clear email explaining your findings without using too much confusing jargon.
- You’ll be handling different sets of info at once, so keeping your files and your thoughts organized is a must.
- If you’ve played around with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI (even just in a class or a personal project), let us know!
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
