Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry-Level E-commerce Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across our online business operations. The ideal candidate will analyze customer behavior, sales performance, and marketing effectiveness to help optimize revenue and user experience across digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze e-commerce data including website traffic, conversion rates, customer journeys, and sales trends
- Work with large datasets using SQL and Excel to extract, clean, and validate data
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Monitor KPIs such as cart abandonment, customer acquisition cost (CAC), and lifetime value (LTV)
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to provide actionable insights
- Perform A/B testing analysis to evaluate campaign and website performance
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support business strategies
- Assist in forecasting sales and demand planning
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, Economics, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects acceptable)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Familiarity with e-commerce metrics and platforms (Shopify, Google Analytics is a plus)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools
- Understanding of digital marketing metrics (SEO, SEM, campaign performance)
