Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site entry-level position for an Industrial Engineer, based in Boston, MA. The Industrial Engineer will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for process improvements, and implementing optimized solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Day-to-day tasks include conducting workflow analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to manufacturing engineering solutions, and gathering data to support better decision-making. The position involves hands-on problem-solving and communication to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate systems and processes and recommend areas for improvement
  • Foundational knowledge in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering principles
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey complex ideas effectively
  • Experience or coursework involving process improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in relevant tools or software for data analysis and modeling
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to dynamic project requirements
  • Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
