Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation server solutions. This role involves close collaboration with customers and internal teams to ensure the successful design, analysis, and production of high-quality mechanical components.

Responsibilities

• Cooperate with customers for the development of next-generation server solutions.
• Act as the first RD contact for local customers regarding design requests/tasks and provide customer feedback/solutions daily.
• Collaborate with the factory for Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and related drawing and Bill of Materials (BOM) works if necessary.
• Handle production quality issues in customers’ plants and provide effective solutions.
• Design, test, analyze, and debug mechanical prototypes based on design requests.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members in Taiwan.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
• 1+ years of experience in design and analysis of server, storage, desktop, or related electronic systems.
• Extensive experience with Creo, proficient level (1+ years).
• Excellent working knowledge of mechanical engineering and design principles, specifically in large-scale production, sheet metal, and/or injection molding, electrical interconnect systems, and heat extraction.

Work Environment

This position is based onsite at a customer location in North Austin, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. The role offers 8 holidays and 1 week of paid time off. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $43.26/hr.
