Apollo Technical has an immediate need for an Entry Level Process Engineer in the DFW TX area.
An entry-level process engineer designs, monitors, and optimizes manufacturing systems to ensure they run safely and efficiently. In this role, you typically support senior engineers by collecting data, troubleshooting equipment issues, and drafting technical documentation like Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Responsibilities:
- Process Monitoring & Optimization: Tracking performance variables (cycle times, rates) and recommending small-scale improvements to boost productivity and reduce waste.
- Technical Documentation: Preparing and updating critical process records, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Safety & Compliance: Participating in safety reviews like Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and ensuring operations meet environmental and safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying root causes of production bottlenecks or equipment failures and assisting with corrective actions.
• Project Support: Assisting in the commissioning and start-up of new equipment or facility upgrades.
Requirements:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is standard.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and basic knowledge of CAD or simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, or Aspen HYSYS).
- Analytical Ability: Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex process data.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience; internships or co-op programs in manufacturing are highly valued.
Qualifications and Experience:
BSME or BSEE is preferred
