Equity Capital Market Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented Investment Banking Analyst to join our growing team in Singapore, focusing on Equity Capital Markets (ECM) transactions. The successful candidate will use their related experience to contribute to the firm’s ECM execution and capital raising capabilities while helping build Jefferies’ franchise and reputation in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing support on marketing and execution of various types of offerings such as IPOs, capital increases and sell downs of shares
• Liaising with equity sales, research and trading to discuss sector and stock specific trends and investor feedback
• Regular interaction with our investment banking coverage and public equity teams
• Creating and interpreting financial models and pitch book preparation

Qualifications:

• 1-2 year’s ECM execution experience with deep understanding of the nature of the business
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts and ability to analyze businesses
• Fluency in English is essential. Mandarin is desirable
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics or a related field from a top tier educational institution
• Commitment to delivery of highest quality work product; strong attention to detail
• Proactive, motivated and goal-oriented self-starter
• Excellent oral and written communication skills innovation – able to identify creative solutions in the face of complex problems
