About this Role

Neuberger Berman is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to join its Impact Investing team at the Vice President level. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior portfolio managers and contribute to stock selection decisions. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth fundamental and sustainability research on companies generating sustainable outcomes. By collaborating closely with portfolio managers and utilizing deep research, the Research Analyst will help shape investment strategies and portfolio construction. The role involves engaging with portfolio holdings, performing financial modeling, and delivering investment insights and reporting on sustainable outcomes. Responsibilities

  • Conduct research coverage and make stock recommendations.
  • Contribute to portfolio construction and idea generation.
  • Perform fundamental and sustainability-related due diligence on investments.
  • Engage with portfolio holdings and report on sustainable outcomes.
  • Conduct financial modeling and valuation.
  • Maintain communication with management teams, industry experts, and analysts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in investment banking, sell-side or buy-side research in equities.
  • Strong fundamental research skills with financial modeling, valuation, and industry assessments.
  • Proven interest or experience in sustainable investing.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-task.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • FINRA series qualifications and CFA certification are helpful.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
