- Responsibilities:
- Design & Optimization: Contribute to the design, specification, and continuous optimization of Caterpillar engine systems for various applications, including mechanical and electrical interfaces.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Lead advanced diagnostic efforts to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in Caterpillar engines, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.
- Preventative Maintenance & Reliability: Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules and strategies to ensure peak operational efficiency and extended lifespan of engine components.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert technical guidance and support to field teams, clients, and internal stakeholders on all aspects of Caterpillar engine operation and maintenance.
- Project Leadership: Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities comply with stringent safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental protocols.
- Documentation: Create and maintain precise technical documentation, reports, and operational manuals.
- Skills & Technologies: You will regularly engage with advanced concepts in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Diesel Engines, and utilize cutting-edge CAD Software for design and analysis. Your proficiency in Engine Diagnostics and Troubleshooting will be paramount.

Job Requirements
- Exceptional Foundation: Possess a strong background in Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, ready to tackle complex challenges head-on.
- Proven Expertise: A minimum of 3-7 years of progressive experience in engine engineering, with a strong focus on heavy-duty diesel engines, specifically Caterpillar products.
- Diagnostic Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in Engine Diagnostics, Troubleshooting, and implementing effective Preventative Maintenance strategies.
- Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of Electrical Systems related to engine operation and control. Experience with CAD Software is highly desirable.
- Project Leadership: Proven ability to manage projects, from planning to execution, showcasing strong Project Management skills.
