As an Experienced Electrical Engineer, you will:

  • Create comprehensive designs of electrical systems, including master system plans, power and protection models, and renewable energy systems with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct power system studies and calculations, including lighting simulations, layouts, communications, fire alarms, and security systems.
  • Generate technical documentation and white papers to enhance the firm's knowledge management.
  • Review sites and ensure designs meet location specifications, updating requirements as necessary.
  • Contribute to technical knowledge management by documenting special design cases and submitting technical papers to journals.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop compelling proposals in response to RFPs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Attend industry events to promote the firm and its services alongside sales staff.
  • Perform a variety of other duties as needed.
  • Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and training for their professional development.

Certification/License Requirements:

Professional Engineer

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field, along with a PE license.
  • 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Equivalent additional directly related experience may be considered instead of a degree.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as required based on project demands.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with power systems in water, wastewater, federal, industrial, and transit facilities.
  • Proficiency in designing medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
  • Experience with power system analysis software, such as SKM Power Tools or ETAP.

Job Site Location:

Pay Range Minimum: $105,227

Pay Range Maximum: $184,142

Work Location Options: Hybrid work options may be available.
