This global company designs, deploys, and supports the telecom industry across four key sectors, including subsea cables, mobile networks, data center infrastructure, and fixed-line networks. They install and commission telecom equipment and handle cabling, racking and stacking, and site builds.

You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining telecom and data center infrastructure in the field for clients, including cabling, equipment setup, and fault resolution.

The Role:

• Provide First Line Maintenance support to the customer base.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults, ensuring timely response and SLA compliance.

• Support ongoing operations with first-line maintenance and on-call coverage as needed.

• Lead and supervise field activities, providing guidance to junior engineers.

• Carry out installation and commissioning duties in both a project and maintenance environment.

• Installation of metalwork, fiber and cable pulling, and copper cable termination.

• Field Installation Supervision of internal and external team members

The Person:

• Installation and configuration of equipment from manufacturers such as Ciena, Juniper, Huawei, or similar.

• Experience with fiber testing, including OTDR.

• Experience with fiber splicing and structured cabling (fiber and copper).

• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
