Position Summary:
Looking for a qualified Electrical Field Service Engineer for diesel and gas gensets. Responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems at customer sites across Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission genset electrical systems and Deep Sea control panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation.
- Replace faulty components and recommend system improvements.
- Provide on-site support and train customer personnel on electrical operation.
- Manage electrical spare parts inventory and ensure safety compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of electrical field service experience with gensets.
- Experience with Caterpillar, Cummins, or Jenbacher genset electrical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions and flexible hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical diploma/certification in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Manufacturer-specific electrical training (Caterpillar, Cummins, Jenbacher).
- Basic AutoCAD knowledge.
