Key Responsibilities
As an EUC Field Services Engineer L2, your primary responsibilities include:
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
● Provide second-level support for end-user computing devices such as desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral equipment.
● Diagnose and repair hardware and software problems, including application errors, network connectivity issues, and system configuration challenges.
Deployment and Maintenance
● Assist in the rollout of new devices, ensuring proper configuration and compatibility with existing systems.
● Conduct routine maintenance and updates for end-user devices, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
● Install and configure software applications, operating systems, and security patches.
Customer Service and Communication
● Maintain clear and professional communication with end-users to provide updates, guidance, and resolutions to their queries.
● Educate users on best practices for device usage, security protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
● Document resolutions, create guides, and contribute to the knowledge base for common issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise
● Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu.
● Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, VPNs, and other enterprise-level tools.
● Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles for effective incident and problem management.
● Familiarity with imaging tools, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.
Interpersonal Skills
● Strong communication skills to effectively interact with users, team members, and management.
● Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
