Finance Analyst - Service Charges

Finance Analyst - Service Charges | 4 - 6 Month FTC | £40,000 - £50,000| Hybrid | East London

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a reputable Housing Association who are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst into their service charge team. The role is offered for an initial 4 -6 month fixed term contract, with hybrid working and a great benefits package.

Duties:

• Review and reconcile 2024/25 service charge accounts

• Analyse and reapportion costs in line with lease agreements and policy

• Identify and correct misallocations and inconsistencies in accounting treatment

• Support the preparation and issue of balancing charges and work with finance and operational teams to validate data and assumptions

• Highlight risks relating to income recovery and financial accuracy

Experience:

• Experience working in Social Housing in a Service Charge position

• Has been responsible for budget setting, audit, month end, year end for Service Charge

• Strong business partnering experience including forecasting and budget setting

• Excellent excel skills with the ability to manipulate large volume of data
