At Cornerstone Research, we are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team. As a Finance Analyst, you will be integral to case teams that consist of various professionals, including academic and industry experts, senior consultants, and fellow analysts. You will contribute significantly throughout all project phases, from strategizing case approaches to performing complex analyses and preparing experts for testimony.

Your role involves both quantitative and qualitative components, with key responsibilities such as:

• Developing financial and economic models
• Analyzing extensive datasets
• Examining market and industry behavior
• Conducting thorough research through academic articles and pertinent industry literature
• Assisting with expert written reports
• Leading teams of junior analysts
• Presenting findings to colleagues, experts, and clients

Our compact size allows you to closely engage not only with senior consultants and academic/industry experts but also with clients and their legal counsel. Depending on your previous work experience, you will join the firm as either a Senior Analyst or a Research Associate.

Analyst Development

From your first day, we prioritize providing you with the information, training, and resources you need for success. You will start with a comprehensive orientation and training program to help you acclimate to the firm. We also offer ongoing learning and development programs to enhance your analytical and statistical skills, as well as soft skills essential for effective collaboration with case teams, clients, and experts.

Shortly after joining, you will meet your Staffing & Development Manager and embark on your first case teams. Additionally, there are numerous opportunities for analysts to actively participate and often lead firm initiatives, including social committees, affinity groups, volunteer programs, and recruiting efforts. We aim to provide a well-rounded experience for you.

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong academic performance in a Master's in Finance program. No other graduate degrees will be considered at this time.
• Proven leadership skills, with experience leading teams and promoting collaboration
• Strong analytical background developed through academic and/or professional experience
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities
• A demonstrated interest in business, finance, and economics

Cornerstone Research offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The base salary for the Finance Analyst role with the required education ranges from $115,000 to $145,000. In addition to the base salary, successful candidates will qualify for a starting bonus and discretionary bonuses based on project performance and firm contributions.
