We’re looking for a Finance and Strategy Analyst to join our Milan team. In this role, you’ll be a trusted partner to local leadership, driving the forecasting process and providing the insights needed to fuel Deliveroo’s growth across Italy.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be joining the Finance & Strategy team. We accelerate the growth of our business by implementing new opportunities and solutions, partnering across the company to improve the profitability and scalability of our business model.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Drive the end-to-end forecasting process for the Italian market, supporting both annual budgeting and long-term strategic cycles.

• Strategic Financial Analysis: Deliver in-depth business analysis to the Country Leadership team, explaining performance versus targets and the "why" behind P&L trends.

• Cross-Functional Business Partnering: Act as a bridge between Finance and our Commercial, Operations, and Marketing teams to link financial outcomes to operational drivers.

• Operational Excellence: Build and refine reporting and analysis tools, driving efficiency through automation and ensuring total data integrity.

• Insight Delivery: Collaborate with the FP&A Manager and HQ teams in London to produce clear, concise analysis for the Italy management team and the Group CFO.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE

Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:

• FP&A Expertise: Significant experience in financial planning and analysis within an international, fast-paced environment (e.g., Tech, FMCG, or Retail).

• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and reporting automation using Excel or G-Suite.

• Data Fluency: A critical thinker comfortable working with large datasets and turning complex information into actionable insights for senior management.

• P&L Management: Solid understanding of expense tracking, marketing spend, and variance analysis.

• Linguistic Skills: Professional fluency in both Italian and English is required for local and global collaboration.
