​Finance Director – Energy & Infrastructure

Salary: RMB 1.5m – 2m per annum

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a globally active investment platform to appoint a Finance Director based in Hong Kong. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving financial strategy, governance, and performance across a portfolio of energy and infrastructure investments.

This role sits at the intersection of finance, investment, and strategic decision-making, acting as a key partner to executive leadership.

You will play a critical role in ensuring robust financial management, supporting capital allocation decisions, and providing insight across a complex, international portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategy and planning
• Oversee financial reporting, controls, and governance across the organisation
• Support investment decisions through financial analysis, modelling, and insight
• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and financial risk
• Partner with senior stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and board members
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards
• Lead and develop high-performing finance teams across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role (Finance Director / Head of Finance)
• Background within energy, infrastructure, private equity, or investment environments
• Strong expertise in financial strategy, reporting, and governance
• Experience supporting investment and capital allocation decisions
• Proven ability to influence at board and investor level
• Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
• Fluent in English (Mandarin/Cantonese advantageous)
