Description
A career in Corporate Finance at Liberty Mutual is more than numbers and reports. It's about turning data into insights that strengthen decision-making, improve governance, and help the business operate smarter and faster.
As a Business Analyst I on the Data Strategy & Governance team, you'll work at the intersection of finance, data, and business operations-supporting initiatives that enhance enterprise financial data quality, transparency, and consistency. If you're early in your career, curious about how data drives business outcomes, and eager to grow your analytical skills, this role could be a great next step.
The Details
As a Business Analyst in Corporate Finance, you'll help turn finance needs into clear, consistent data that teams use for reporting and decision-making. You'll work closely with product owners and engineering squads to support efforts that standardize premium and loss information across systems.
Most of your time will be spent learning the data, gathering requirements from finance partners in support of Product Owners, checking examples of source data, and helping make sure the transformed data meets business needs. As you grow in this role, you'll take on ownership of small-to-moderate analyses and data requests end-to-end, lead routine stakeholder conversations, and present findings with increasing independence. You'll also build deeper expertise in premium and loss data, create simple monitoring or validation checks, and learn basic data and reporting tools to support more complex requests.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop foundational skills in business analysis, data strategy, and corporate finance while gaining exposure to enterprise-wide initiatives.
