What You’ll Do
Are you a detail-driven analyst who thrives at the intersection of compliance, data, and strategic problem-solving? As a Finance Operations Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening financial integrity while helping shape smarter, more efficient ways of working across the Finance function.
In this role, you’ll lead continuous expense monitoring and compliance audit activities—reviewing financial transactions, identifying risks, and uncovering opportunities to enhance controls and processes. But this isn’t just about compliance. You’ll also take ownership of high-impact projects, approach challenges with a consulting mindset, and transform complex data into clear, compelling insights that influence decision-making at every level of the organization.
You’ll collaborate across teams, contribute to modernization efforts, and help advance the use of automation and emerging technologies—making a tangible impact on how Finance operates today and evolves for the future.

Compliance Monitoring & Audit Execution – Review expense reports, procurement card activity, vendor invoices, and related documentation to ensure adherence to policies and procedures
- Exception Analysis & Risk Identification – Investigate anomalies, identify potential policy violations, and flag emerging risks or patterns requiring escalation or deeper review
- Audit Documentation & Policy Insight – Maintain detailed records of findings and proactively highlight opportunities for policy clarification or enhancement
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly compliance reports, summarizing trends, risks, and key insights for leadership
- Dashboard & Model Development – Build and maintain data models and dashboards to support ongoing compliance monitoring and workflow efficiency
- Insight Storytelling – Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, and visually compelling presentations tailored to diverse audiences
- Process Improvement & Recommendations – Identify inefficiencies and propose actionable solutions to strengthen compliance and optimize workflows
- Project Ownership & Execution – Lead and contribute to Finance Operations initiatives, managing projects from problem definition through implementation
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Finance teams to ensure aligned compliance coverage and support shared operational goals
- Automation & Innovation Support – Contribute to efforts to modernize finance processes through automation and data-driven solutions
- Ad Hoc Analysis – Support evolving business needs through additional analytical and operational requests
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field required; with 2-4 years of relevant work experience in compliance, audit, finance, or accounting. Prior experience in management consulting, public accounting, internal audit, or a professional services environment (law firm or consulting firm) is strongly preferred.
- Compliance & Audit Knowledge – Strong understanding of expense compliance, internal controls, audit methodology, and exception review processes
- Analytical Expertise – Proven ability to analyze large datasets and develop insights that drive informed decision-making
- Communication & Presentation Skills – Exceptional ability to craft clear, structured, and visually engaging materials for audiences at all levels
- Consultative Mindset – Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems, develop recommendations, and drive workstreams to completion
- Attention to Detail & Ownership – Proactive, Highly organized, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Technical Proficiency – Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred
- Systems Knowledge – Familiarity with expense and financial systems such as Emburse, Coupa, or Elite 3E is a plus
- Automation & Emerging Technology Interest – Exposure to or interest in tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies
