Job Description

Gradial is a Seattle-based startup enabling digital experiences at the speed of thought. We empower marketers and creatives to implement their ideas directly, with software that adapts over time. Our platform automates website and design system updates, large-scale migrations to new design systems, and continuous content optimization while adhering to company and product brands.

Backed by world class investors, we’re looking to scale our platform and expand our team. At Gradial, we operate with extreme ownership, bias towards action and critical path planning. We tackle problems from first principles, question assumptions, and find creative solutions. The Role We’re looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to help scale the systems, workflows, and reporting that keep the business running cleanly as we grow. You’ll sit at the center of finance, operations, and data, helping turn closed deals into accurate billing, tightening core processes, and delivering analysis that helps the company make smarter decisions faster.

This is a great role for someone early in their career who wants real ownership, broad exposure, and the chance to build alongside a high-growth SaaS team. You should be energized by fast pace, high standards, and the opportunity to use AI to make finance operations sharper, faster, and more scalable.

What You’ll Own Support billing operations end to end, partnering closely with GTM teams to ensure smooth handoff from closed-won deals to accurate invoicing

Drive revenue tracking, reconciliations, and reporting in partnership with accounting and finance leadership

Build ad hoc analyses that help inform decisions across pricing, customer behavior, unit economics, and broader business performance

Improve financial processes and systems to increase accuracy, speed, and visibility as the company scales

Support finance operations across compliance, regulatory filings, and other business-critical workflows

Use AI tools to automate manual work, streamline reporting, and improve how finance operates day to day

What We’re Looking For 2 to 4 years of experience in finance, consulting, or another highly analytical role

Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy

Advanced comfort with Excel or Google Sheets and confidence working with data

Working knowledge of SaaS metrics, subscription billing, and revenue recognition concepts like ARR, deferred revenue, and NRR

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments

Clear communicator who works well across teams and functions

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field

Nice to Have Experience in SaaS, startups, or other high-growth environments

Experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or automation platforms to improve workflows or analyze data

You'll thrive here if you... Learn quickly and actively seek out new challenges.

Embrace AI as a core tool for problem-solving, creativity and scale.

Show a strong work ethic, high ownership and bias toward action.

Communicate clearly, directly and with curiosity.

Thrive in fast‑paced, hyper‑growth environments where building better > maintaining status quo.

What we offer Meaningful equity and competitive salary

We’re excited by candidates who thoughtfully apply AI tools in their work, but during interviews we’re focused on you. This is your opportunity to show how you think, communicate, and solve problems. Over‑reliance on AI‑generated responses during the interview process (especially when it obscures your own voice) will result in disqualification. We want to understand your unique perspective and how you approach challenges, both with and without AI.
