Financial Analyst | 5 years experience | Onsite/Hybrid | Chicago, IL | Contract to Hire

Walker Healthforce is seeking a Financial Analyst with 3-6 years to support a healthcare client based out of Chicago, IL or Richardson, TX. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

START DATE: ASAP

HOURS/SCHEDULE: M-F; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

WORKER TYPE: Full-Time W2

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 yrs experience in corporate finance
• Knowledge of building financial models and creating KPI Dashboards; including ROI models for business case development and forecasting
• Manage internal business partners ad-hoc projects and collaborate in a heavily matrix environment
• Able to present monthly financials at all leadership levels
• Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Able to solve problems independently, detailed oriented and can summarize large amount of data into key points
• Advance in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and other Microsoft products

WE CONSIDER IT A BONUS IF YOU ALSO HAVE: • Working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, Hyperion (Essbase/PBCS), PeopleSoft, and other Oracle financial tools

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for Forecasting, Planning, and analyzing financial performance of Blue Cross Blue Shield Corporate Services.

• Responsibilities may include preparing monthly, quarterly, annual financial forecast and reporting, updating financial models and participating in RFP's.
• Provide accurate expense projections of internal staffing, contractors, 3rd party vendor services, and other general administrative expenses. In addition, analyst will provide finance support to business leaders and other cross functional corporate teams.
