Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis)

MOVATI Athletic is a leading organization in the fitness industry with a strong commitment to service excellence and growth. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Analyst to support our financial operations and contribute to our continued success. This role is a pivotal role in the Finance Department, taking responsibility for the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budget development, and forecasting.

Role:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets aligned with organizational priorities and financial goals.

• Build and maintain financial forecasting models to project future performance and support strategic planning.

• Conduct detailed variance analyses to compare actual results with budgeted expectations, identifying risks, opportunities, and root‑cause drivers.

• Generate clear, insightful financial reports for senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial operations, reporting efficiency, and overall organizational effectiveness.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives and decision‑making.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation is required.

• 3-5 years’ Financial Planning & Analysis experience in a retail, hospitality or related field is preferred.

• PowerBI and SQL/VBA knowledge required.

• Computer proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data insights.

• Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills are required.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and objectives with minimal supervision.

• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and work flexible hours, as required.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 per year

The compensation will be determined based on experience, skills set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
