Financial Analyst (Modeling & Data Analysis)

Our client is looking to add a Financial Analyst to support a growing portfolio of analytical and modeling initiatives that directly influence business decisions.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build strong modeling skills, work on meaningful projects, and develop the ability to turn data into insight.

Salary range: $90,000 to $135,000 DOE. Relocation Assistance available if applicable.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the maintenance, updating, and improvement of financial and operational models
  • Work with data to analyze trends, validate assumptions, and ensure accuracy across models
  • Assist in short-term analytical projects focused on specific business segments or initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and support implementation of model-driven changes
  • Contribute to research, analysis, and reporting efforts that inform business decisions
  • Help prepare presentations and materials that communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Track progress on assigned workstreams and support timely delivery of project milestones

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in finance, analytics, accounting, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (data analysis, modeling, or reporting)
  • Ability to work with data and identify patterns, inconsistencies, and insights
  • Solid communication skills and an interest in explaining data to others
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Exposure to financial modeling, forecasting, or cost analysis
  • Experience working with large datasets or data visualization tools
  • Familiarity with tools like Python, R, or SQL

Requirements:

Required Qualifications: (Education and Experience, License, and/or Certification)

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field or two years additional relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing and visualizing data in Excel.
