The Role

We're looking for a sharp, driven Financial Analyst to join our growing team. You'll sit at the intersection of deal sourcing, financial modeling, and investment strategy — working directly with the Chief Investment Officer and closely with senior leadership on every stage of the acquisition process, from initial screening through closing. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership. You won't be buried in a back-office — you'll be in the room where deals get made.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Investments team by underwriting potential property acquisitions, including cash flow modeling, finance and joint venture structuring, and investment analyses including IRR calculations, sensitivity tables, etc.
  • Perform yield on cost/return on investment analysis of unit renovation projects.
  • Assist with preparation of Investment Committee deal flow review and memoranda.
  • Assist with property specific thesis development and market research.
  • Interact with brokers, lenders and other associated parties throughout the deal process.
  • Assist with due diligence and all aspects of the acquisition and takeover process, including communicating with lenders, vendors, management, brokers and any other third party sources involved with the transaction.
  • Track pipeline activity and maintain deal tracking system
  • Collaborate with brokers, lenders, and third-party vendors throughout the transaction process

What We're Looking For

  • 1–4 years of experience in real estate private equity, acquisitions, investment sales, or a related field
  • Strong financial modeling skills — you should be able to build a multifamily cash flow proforma, including IRR analysis, from scratch
  • Deep understanding of multifamily fundamentals: cap rates, NOI, debt structures, value-add strategies
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Self-starter who thrives with ownership and accountability
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel; Argus or real estate-specific software a plus
  • Proficiency in using AI platforms relevant to financial analysis, market research and due diligence for investment properties
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field preferred
