About The Role The Leidos Health Solutions team is seeking a Program Financial Analyst (PFA) to support the Military One Source (MOS) program. This role involves managing and overseeing all financial aspects of the program, ensuring accurate reporting, financial planning, and analysis to support program objectives.

The ideal candidate will work independently on complex projects, interface directly with customers, and contribute to strategic financial decision-making processes. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to national service and operational excellence.

The PFA will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, variance analysis, proposal pricing, and monthly/quarterly reviews. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling high volumes of data, performing risk assessments, and providing actionable insights to senior management. The position also involves supporting planning processes such as the Annual Operating Plan and Estimate at Complete, ensuring financial health and compliance of the program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 12+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or project control
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, and MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of project control principles and financial management practices
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and financial information from multiple sources
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective actions

Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial aspects of the MOS program, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with the MOS finance team and line management to support financial operations and reporting
  • Assist the MOS F&BO manager with tasking, problem solving, and financial analysis
  • Support reporting of program finances, including service level agreements, labor forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Conduct oversight of proposal pricing, including risk assessment and cash flow analysis
  • Perform variance analysis, unbilled analysis, and revenue validation activities
  • Support monthly financial reviews covering awards, net bookings, revenue, fees, and cash flow
  • Assist in developing and presenting the Annual Operating Plan and Estimate at Complete reports
  • Lead ad-hoc requests from program and finance management teams
  • Interface directly with customers and participate in meetings as required
  • Create Monthly Operating Review and Quarterly Business Review reports and charts
  • Complete backlog analysis and basis-of-estimate support for proposals
  • Monitor service center performance and conduct forecasting activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including internal project management and financial analysis
