Role Description

The Financial Cost Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, managing cost accounting functions, and developing reports that provide insights to support decision-making. Key responsibilities include monitoring and controlling costs, preparing budgets, forecasting financial outcomes, and identifying opportunities to optimize operational efficiency and profitability. This is a full-time hybrid role based in the Greater St. Louis area, with the ability to work from home part of the time.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
  • Expertise in Cost Accounting and Cost Control
  • Proficiency in Finance and Budgeting methodologies
  • Proven ability to prepare financial reports and present findings to stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in dynamic work settings
  • Experience in a similar analytical or financial role, preferably within a cost accounting environment
