The Opportunity
Our client, a leading insurer in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic data insights to support the company's growth and decision-making processes. This is a full-time position based in Wan Chai, Wan Chai District. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive support for expense management projects, covering implementation through to optimization.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for finance and reporting systems, including planning, test script development, execution, defect management, and final sign-off.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards independently:
- Convert business requirements into insightful financial visualizations for senior management.
- Optimize dashboard performance and troubleshoot data refresh processes.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or equivalent; prior FP&A or expense management experience advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, with ability to create complex dashboards from source data.
- Experience in the finance sector, with understanding of financial data structures, cost drivers, and reporting practices.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualizations, performance optimization).
- Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reconciliation.
- Practical experience with UAT in finance, insurance, or reporting systems.
