Financial Investment Analyst ( PE Fund)

A leading investment platform in its space is seeking a Financial Investment Analyst to join its Finance & Operations team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role sits at the intersection of investment analysis, financial reporting, and revenue analytics, supporting a portfolio of diversified, income-generating assets.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and validate revenue streams from portfolio investments, ensuring accuracy of third-party reporting and cash flows

Record and track income across multiple asset classes within the general ledger

Build financial models and dashboards to monitor performance vs. forecasts, historical trends, and KPIs

Develop a deep understanding of underlying investment structures, contract economics, and revenue drivers

Partner cross-functionally with commercial and operational teams to assess revenue impact and support decision-making

Conduct variance analysis and identify discrepancies, supporting audit processes and revenue recovery initiatives

Drive process improvements across reporting, analytics, and data management

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or data analytics (asset management or related experience preferred)

Strong understanding of financial reporting, revenue recognition, and GAAP fundamentals

Advanced Excel skills (e.g., PowerPivot, complex formulas); experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau

Proven ability to analyze large datasets and translate insights into actionable insights

Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills

NB: This role is 4 days in office and 1 day working from home.
