Position Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and driven FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the firm. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and play a key part in building and maintaining pro forma models, supporting budgeting processes, and providing financial insights that directly impact business growth.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role where you will partner closely with leadership to ensure data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Build and manage pro forma financial models, including P&L and cash flow projections
• Conduct scenario analysis to support hiring, marketing spend, and expansion initiatives
• Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) and identify key trends
• Prepare financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership
• Partner cross-functionally with Litigation, Pre-Litigation, Marketing, HR, and Operations
• Support headcount planning and compensation modeling in collaboration with HR
• Improve financial reporting processes and support scalable growth initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience
• Experience building and maintaining financial models (including pro formas)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivots, scenario analysis)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment
• Exposure to contingency-based revenue models (personal injury preferred)
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, etc.)

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 per year
