Within the FP&A team, we are responsible for providing insightful and actionable intel to the senior management team to facilitate effective decision-making. The Opportunity:

The FP&A Manager reports to the Senior FP&A Manager and involves close collaboration with many of the key leaders within the business and the rest of the FP&A team and the broader Finance organisation.

The rapid growth of the business and the increasing complexity driven by new launches and services make this role an exciting, engaging, and challenging proposition. Expected to help drive performance, build plans for the future, and manage regular reporting, forecasting, and general planning. The role is very broad-based and will require an individual motivated to make a significant impact.

In This Role, You’ll Get To:

  • Add immediate value and support the organisation during an exciting and dynamic growth phase
  • Develop insightful analysis, dashboards and presentations to the Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders to guide long term strategic decision making
  • Support the forecast process in conjunction with key stakeholders and collaboration with the rest of the FP&A team
  • Work with the Senior FP&A Manager to manage a rolling monthly forecast model and provide timely insights into performance against budget/forecast
  • Prepare segments of reports to the Board, Shareholders and Advisers as required and directed from time to time
  • Develop insights on business performance and trends, including use of KPIs and OKRs
  • Undertake additional planning and budgeting activities as required
  • Enhance the understanding and critical levers of the Agoda business
  • Support the delivery of annual budgets, quarterly guidance, and monthly and weekly forecasts as well as related financial planning & analysis
  • Provide financial analysis & commentary on month-end financials & KPIs

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum 6 years in finance-related fields, four years of financial planning experience
  • Chartered Accountant qualified: ACA or CIMA, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience of using EPM/BPM systems (planning tools)
  • Exceptional Excel and financial modelling skills proficiency in SQL and statistical modelling is a plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while also collaborating with cross-functional teams and coaching junior members of the FP&A team
  • Ability to take ownership and to meet tight deadlines with a logical, systematic approach to prioritising tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a track record of presenting to senior management
  • Demonstrable success at developing quality insights for non-finance management teams
  • Commercially aware, able to think both analytically and strategically, to think logically about underlying business issues
  • Pro-active in resolving queries and problems and highlighting future potential areas of risk
  • Curiosity and willingness to get involved in the business to understand the story behind the numbers
