Our client in downtown Toronto is looking to hire a FP&A Manager for their corporate team. This is a full-time permanent role with bonus, benefits, RRSP matching, and more. This is a hybrid work model, 3 days on site in downtown Toronto. The manager will lead a team of 2 and report to the Director.
- Lead and develop a small FP&A team, providing coaching, performance management, and oversight of day-to-day planning and reporting activities
- Own the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and business objectives
- Prepare and deliver monthly management reporting packages, including variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior periods) with clear insights and recommendations
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case development
- Build and maintain robust financial models to support long-range planning, capital allocation, and investment decisions
- Analyze key financial and operational drivers, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and performance
- Enhance FP&A processes, systems, and reporting tools to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across the organization
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the FP&A space, including leading a team
- CPA, CFA, or MBA required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tech savvy individual who has advanced excel and used large ERPs
