Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Financial Portfolio Manager in the Commercial Real Estate Group (CREG) who will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring credit, and managing portfolios consisting of acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans for different asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the RM to organize, evaluate, and manage loans for commercial real estate properties that are not owner-occupied, following the Bank's specified guidelines and policies.
- Function as the key liaison between clients, legal representatives, the credit department, and other internal stakeholders while working closely with the Relationship Manager.
- Inspecting and preparing preliminary appraisal documents, official loan authorization memorandums, alterations, yearly appraisements, and shifts in risk assessment.
- Consistent portfolio management entails monitoring financial reporting, evaluating covenant compliance, and making adjustments to risk ratings when necessary.
- Comply with the Bank's regulatory and credit guidelines.
- Perform extra administrative duties and unique projects as necessary for client portfolio management.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree or a hybrid of educational background and closely relevant experience.
- The desired candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in commercial banking, and at least 2 years of experience specifically managing commercial real estate portfolios.
- Expertise in underwriting evaluations, Excel spreadsheet modeling, and refined business writing aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Skill in assessing the financial documentation for individuals, businesses, and funds.
- Possesses adeptness in comprehending credit policy and procedures and excels in accurately risk rating loans/credits.
- Design interventions to manage delinquent loan accounts.
- Demonstrates expertise in treasury practices and derivative products, illustrating the adeptness in marshaling the Bank's resources to offer comprehensive solutions to the company.
