Job Description:

In supporting risk assessment and administration of the Bank's loan portfolio, the Financial Portfolio Manager conducts analyses, supervises credit matters, oversees responsibilities such as annual evaluations, renewals, ensuring adherence to loan covenants, and managing financial collections for specified loan portfolios. Collaborates with Relationship Managers to foster the growth and enhancement of an exceptional and profitable loan portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Review key information to evaluate the risk rating and to determine whether a prospect or existing credit is a favorable risk.
  • Keep a close eye on credit risk trends at the customer and portfolio levels and promptly notify management of any changes in risk profiles.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers when meeting with clients to ascertain their individual needs and preferences accurately.
  • Gather essential financial data to facilitate precise risk evaluation and comprehensive underwriting review.
  • Field client questions and ensure the precision of information pertinent to loan underwriting.
  • Examine the global money flow for prospects, borrowers, and guarantors in both commercial and individual contexts.
  • Develop comprehensive financial documents, including spreadsheets, credit presentations, narratives, relationship summaries, and loan pricing models.
  • Assist with determining the pricing and conditions for new loan offerings and renewals.
  • Supervise the execution of loan closing and booking activities.
  • Monitor the pulse of the industry and scrutinize sector-specific data to uncover potential risks.
  • Supervise the dispatch of renewal letters at 4-month intervals and conduct in-depth assessments to verify compliance with loan terms and annual reviews.
  • Abide by all required regulatory mandates and training protocols.
  • Assume all other duties as designated.

Qualifications:

  • Necessity for a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or similar professional expertise.
  • The position requires a minimum of two years of experience, with a preference for candidates who have between two and four years of experience.
  • Mastery in utilizing analytical tools for comprehensive credit underwriting.
  • Focused on goals and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in fostering positive relationships and effectively engaging with others.
  • Demonstrating adeptness in grammar, typing, and spelling proficiency.
  • Proficient in coordinating schedules and managing time effectively.
  • Efficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
