Hiring: Firmware QA Engineer (Embedded Test Engineer)

We’re working with an early-stage, high-growth company building IoT-enabled cold chain technology for healthcare and pharma. Their platform ensures sensitive products stay safe, compliant, and fully traceable — and they’re scaling fast.
They’re looking for a hands-on Firmware QA Engineer who enjoys working directly with hardware — not just automation.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing
- Test firmware directly on devices (power, sensors, connectivity, fault recovery)
- Run manual regression + ship testing before deployment
- Reproduce issues, capture logs, and help isolate root causes
- Validate GPS performance (accuracy, signal loss/recovery, edge cases)
- Partner closely with firmware, hardware, and backend teams
- Support release readiness with clear pass/fail reporting
🧠 What They’re Looking For
- Experience testing embedded systems / firmware on hardware
- Strong debugging skills (logs, Linux commands, basic tools)
- Comfortable in a lab, hands-on environment
- Detail-oriented with strong QA discipline
- Ability to write clear bug reports + communicate cross-functionally
➕ Nice to Have
- OTA / firmware update validation
- GPS testing experience
- Light scripting (Python, Bash)
- Background in regulated industries (healthcare, aerospace, etc.)
