Fixed Income Trading Analyst - eFinancialCareers
A CME Member Trading firm is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Fixed Income Quant Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundational knowledge of interest rate markets from SOFR to Treasury Futures. Working alongside experienced traders and PhDs you will be responsible for supporting the team in generating predictive models, seasonal patterns, developing analytical tools, and monitoring real‑time risk, with a specific focus on CME interest rate products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the CME / CBOT microstructure for interest rate products.
- Utilize Python to build, maintain, and enhance models for intra day relative value analysis, curve trades, and basis trades between cash treasuries and futures.
- Monitor real‑time market movements, central bank communications, and economic data releases to assess their impact on models.
- Use Bloomberg Terminal for data extraction, historical analysis, charting.
- Undertake ad‑hoc research projects as directed by management.
Knowledge
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- A minimum of 18 months of direct experience in a fixed income research, trading, or quantitative analysis role.
- Experience with econometric interest rate models such as CIR, HJM, etc. highly desirable.
- A proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Intellectually curious with a genuine passion for financial markets.
