Job Summary
We are looking for an AI Solutions Deployment Engineer to deploy AI and data solutions directly into client environments. This role serves as the technical bridge between the engineering team and clients, requiring strong hands‑on delivery capability, the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, and confidence working in client‑facing scenarios. It is ideal for engineers with full‑stack capabilities who thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy solving real‑world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on‑site or remotely with clients to understand business pain points and translate them into technical solutions and PRDs.
- Rapidly develop prototypes / POCs to validate the feasibility of AI models and data pipelines within client environments.
- Design, deploy, and deliver AI agents, automation workflows, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with backend engineering and data science teams to customize core products into client‑ready solutions.
- Perform system integration, API integration, data migration, and production deployment at client sites.
- Proactively identify project risks and technical bottlenecks, propose alternatives, and drive resolution.
- Collect client feedback and translate it into product improvement recommendations for the product and engineering teams.
- Write technical documentation, deployment guides, and delivery reports to ensure knowledge transfer and maintainability.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of software engineering experience with a track record of delivering client‑facing projects.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, with Python preferred; JavaScript / TypeScript is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with API design and integration, including REST API, Webhooks, and OAuth.
- Understanding of AI / ML fundamentals, including LLM, RAG, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agent architecture.
- Familiarity with at least one cloud platform, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, and its core services.
- Working knowledge of databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or BigQuery.
- Strong client communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions in non‑technical language.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Cantonese or Mandarin is required for the Hong Kong work environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI agents, such as with LangChain, CrewAI, Claude API, or OpenAI API.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployment, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with automation platforms such as n8n or Make.com.
- Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Prior client‑facing experience at consulting firms, system integrators, or technical service companies.
- Data engineering experience, including ETL pipelines, data warehouses, or Airflow.
