Viktor is the AI coworker. It lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams, connects to thousands of tools, and does real work for real companies: finance, marketing, ops, engineering. We're building the product that replaces half the SaaS stack with a single teammate. The team is small. The scope is not. The Short Version You're the person who owns the truth. You write the SQL, you build the pipelines, you ship the dashboards everyone else lives in. You don't wait for someone else to tell you what's happening — you go find out, then bring the answer to the team. You're equal parts engineer and analyst. You ship. What's Actually Going On Here Right now decisions about retention, pricing, channel mix, and unit economics are happening from spreadsheets people made themselves. That works at our size. It won't work at the next one. Every team needs a number, and nobody owns the layer those numbers come from. You'll be our first Growth Analytics Engineer. No team to inherit. No data lead above you. You build the foundation: warehouse, pipelines, dashboards, alerts. The whole stack. You report to the co-founders. What You'll Actually Do Own the ClickHouse warehouse end-to-end. Schema design, ingestion, backfills, performance. You decide how it's structured. You decide what gets in. Build and maintain the pipelines. Prod Postgres, Stripe, Slack, ad platforms, and whatever else we need next. You write them. You own them when they break. Run the BI layer. Hex dashboards for growth, finance, support, product. You build them, you maintain them, and — just as important — you prune them. Dead dashboards are worse than no dashboards. Answer the questions that actually move the business. Retention cohorts. Credit and unit economics. Channel attribution. Churn. Pricing impact. You don't wait to be tasked with these. You bring the answers proactively when the data tells you something the team should know. Stand up monitoring and alerting. We find out about a metric moving the wrong way from your alerts, not from a customer. Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the co-founders and leaders across the company. Fryderyk and Peter make decisions off this data. So does sales. So does growth. You scope, prioritize, and ship fast — and you push back when the question being asked isn't the right one. How You'll Know It's Working The team makes decisions faster, not slower, because the numbers are clear and trusted. People stop building parallel spreadsheets. The dashboard is the source of truth. When a metric moves, you knew first. The co-founders stop pulling numbers themselves. Not because they lost interest, but because you're better at it than they are. New hires can find the answer to most business questions without asking anyone. Who You Are Advanced SQL. Pragmatic on complex queries. You don't write 400-line CTEs when 40 will do. Python for ETL and orchestration. dbt, Dagster, Airflow, or similar — you've shipped real pipelines, not just notebooks. Familiar with columnar warehouses. ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift. Bonus points for ClickHouse specifically, since that's what we're on. Built BI layers from scratch. Hex, Metabase, Looker — you know the difference between a dashboard that gets used and one that gets bookmarked once and forgotten. Product mindset. You're proactive, you challenge assumptions, and you bias toward action. You don't wait for a perfect spec. Founder mentality. You're building a function, not inheriting one. You thrive with ambiguity, move fast, and figure things out. Remote, Warsaw, or Munich. Work fully remote, or join us in our Warsaw or Munich office. Where you live is up to you. Why This Role Is Different No layers. No data lead above you. You own the foundation. The work you ship will define how the company makes decisions. Once the warehouse and BI layer are real, every other team gets faster. You're not building dashboards. You're choosing how Viktor sees itself. The questions are real. Retention cohorts, credit economics, channel attribution at the unit level — these aren't analytics theatre. The answers change what the company does next quarter. The co-founders already believe data is strategic. You won't spend your first six months convincing anyone that this matters. Even Better If Early-stage startup experience. You've been at a sub-30-person company and know what that means. Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS business metrics — MRR, ARR, NDR, LTV. You've helped close the books, not just queried them. Background in ML or forecasting. Helpful but not essential. You've worked somewhere the founders pulled their own numbers and you loved replacing that habit, not fighting it. How we work Small team, high trust, low process. Decisions are made by owners, not committees. You will ship your first week. You will talk to users your first day. We don't do alignment meetings or stakeholder syncs. We build things, see if they work, and iterate. Everyone here owns something real. Not a task. A surface of the c
