Sunshine Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited ("Sunshine AM HK") is the international investment arm of Sunshine Insurance Group (HK-listed). Founded in 2021 and SFC-licensed (Type 4 & 9) since 2023, it serves as the group's offshore platform and QDII manager for Sunshine Life. Backed by its Beijing parent (est. 2012, managing >RMB 740bn), Sunshine AM HK provides tailored advisory and asset management solutions for long-term client growth.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fund Sales professional to drive the growth of our asset management business in Hong Kong and overseas markets. This role is central to developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating and maintaining client and channel relationships, and collaborating with investment teams to deliver tailored product solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial market knowledge, a proven sales track record, extensive client resources, and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment governed by the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed sales plans and market expansion initiatives in line with the company’s business objectives
  • Identify and onboard new institutional clients and distribution channels, while effectively maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships to build a solid network
  • Proactively identify business needs from clients and channels, and act as a liaison with internal investment teams to coordinate and deliver customized investment solutions
  • Conduct market, competitor, and client demand analysis to provide insights and recommendations for product development and enhancement; lead or participate in the end-to-end process of designing and launching new products
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements from the SFC and shifts in client demand to ensure ongoing product compliance and market competitiveness
  • Contribute to the establishment and refinement of internal policies and procedures related to business development, channel management, and product development
  • Efficiently perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing, business development, or sales experience within financial institutions, either in mainland China or internationally
  • Strong knowledge of overseas secondary markets, particularly in bonds and equities, with a demonstrated record of outstanding sales performance. Prior established relationships with high-quality clients or channel partners will be highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with SFC regulations is essential. Candidates holding or eligible for Type 4 and 9 licenses are strongly preferred. Must possess a strong professional ethic, integrity, and a compliance-oriented mindset with a clean disciplinary record
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, a quick learning ability, and innovative thinking. Capable of working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required
